The Good Project presented to 47 international mental health Nurse Practitioners spending a week in Boston for a training to observe our national and local mental health system.

We were asked to present about our work and activities with individuals in need of behavioral health supports while putting their lives back together.

110 Grill Fundraising Event

A successful fundraising event was held at the 110 Grill.

Singer Eric Grava, Jr. was the entertainment and a good time was had by all.

We accepted donations and raffled off baskets donated by local businesses.

Boston Local News Event

WAKEFIELD - An apparent case of road rage ended in a wild crash in Wakefield, Massachusetts Wednesday. The collision was recorded on doorbell video outside the home of Victor Oliveira.

His doorbell camera recorded the crash as a white SUV and black sedan collided. The SUV slammed into the fence across the street and the car sped off.

Oliveria, known in the Boston area for helping people break the cycle of homelessness and addition, is seen on the video running out of his house after the crash.

We’ve held two sucessful comedy show fundraisers at Prince Pizza in Saugus.

Thank you to the fabulous and hilarious Lenny Clark for bringing out the crowds and making us laugh.

We look forward to our next comedy night and thank you to Lenny and Prince Pizza for making these nights so special!

Victor understands the struggle to stop taking drugs and start anew. He dropped out of high school, became addicted to opiates and, by his own account, made bad choices. He says that he has found his calling in helping people-in person and through videos. While the vast majority of the people he encounters on the street don't accept his help, he is buoyed by those who do. He suggests that we all might consider judging less and engaging more with people who are struggling. "Just going out into the community and talking to people and asking them-how can I help you today?"

“No Limits” Podcast Interview

From dealing with drug abuse and spending time in prison to completely turning his life around, Victor Oliveira (aka. The Good Boss) strives to give back to homeless and drug addicted individuals by personally helping them with jobs and giving them the skills and confidence to get "Addicted To Recovery.”

Former addicts and homeless individuals helped by Victor additionally join the show to share their inspiring stories to recovery and leading healthy lives.

“No Address” Movie Partnership

The film is a drama that tells the story of a group of individuals who unexpectedly become homeless, exploring themes of hope, humanity, and resilience as they navigate life’s challenges without a physical address.

The producers reached out to Victor to be an extra in the movie because they liked what he was doing with the community and wanted to become a partner, dedicating 50% of the net profits from the movie to local organizations, with The Good Project being one of them.

The film is scheduled for release in theaters nationwide, with Robert Craig Films being the first Placer County film company to achieve this milestone.

Victor Oliveira is the owner of Wakefield-based VCO Landscaping, but to his millions of followers on TikTok, he's The Good Boss.

When he first started posting on the social media site, Oliveira said he didn't expect much.

"It wasn't big at the time,” he said. “I made a few videos. I showed my work, my guys working."

But before he knew it, he said videos he was posting showing his appreciation, treating his employees to lunch and coffee, started getting more and more likes.

With his business growing, he said he decided to look for people living on the street in need of help.
